Day 0 – Pick up the bikes, rode to Uluwatu and Nusa Dua

Day 1 – Kuta to Kota Negara

Right after clearing the city traffic, found a nice cafe to calm the nerve and have a coffee. Also to plan for the route and lunch place.
This is a preview of what to come for the next few days, quiet, peaceful, greenary. This is what Bali should be.

Revisit Tanah Lot after decades since the last visit. The cave snake still there, maybe is the grandson.

Bebek Sari Uma, beautiful scene, awesome duck. Must visit before or after Tanah Lot. It is just few hundreds meters away from Tanah Lot.

Hotel Jepun Bali. A simple, casual accommodation (RM60), with welcome drink and morning coffee. Very friendly staff, I even chatted with an older lady of the owner family.

Can order dinner from the menu in the room, the hotel do not have restaurant, but then can order from outside. My lontong sate dinner is only IDR25K (RM8).

There is a temple at the most northern point of the Island. they have a ceremony there. Took picture from a far, so not to disturb them.

Nearby also there is a salt making beach.

Wanted to try a bakso place, but it was closed. But fortunately, I saw this unique octopus sate place. Very interesting.

A must visit place if you are around east Bali island, the owner lost her job in a hotel after the pandemic, bought this piece of land next to her mother in law and build this cafe. Awesome coffee and banana fritters. (IDR35000, RM11)

Day 4 – Manggis to Kuta

There is a huge religious celebration that weekend, I asked, but still don’t know what it is. everywhere on the island are celebrating.

Cute and funy girls with costume ready for performance.

My second breakfast, after the chese and egg toast from the hotel, this lamb sate place is awesome. Nasi Lawar Kambing. (IDR45000 RM14)
